Hi, i have made 2 amendments to my tax return and need to make a 3rd one as i was a mobile sales representative through out the last finanacial year.

I didnt claim my work related travel expenses in my 2nd amenemdnet and rather amended the tax return to show that i recieved a bonus towards the end of last financial year that wasnt tax ready. Once the outcomes of the 2 amendments are made will be able to lodge a third amendment to reflect my work related kms - since my role releid on constant travel from location to location the kms are quite significant and need to be deucted.

will i be able to ammend for a third time?

as long as its within the 2 year period of review (2 years from the date on the original notice of assesment) yes you will be able to lodge another amendment, if the 2 year period has passed you will need to lodge an objection and explain why you were unable to lodge within the 2 year period of review and why the commissioner should consider the amendment
