Hi all,

I've searched through the forum and I don't believe this has been asked. Apologies in advance if I've missed it or if this is a no-brainer question, however, I need a definitive answer.

I have received child care subsidy balancing payment from Services Australia for fy24 for our 2 kids. Will this be considered as part of our income to be included in the fy25 tax return?

If the answer is yes, does it need to be split between my husband and I, or only I have to put this in since I am the primary carer and Services Australia uses my CRN for the ccs.

Thank you
