We produce an online literacy teaching programme which is used by schools in Australia. There are a series of workbooks which directly integrate with the online course and are recommended for use by remedial learners. The workbooks are written in by students and have their names on the cover. We invoice the school and then some schools invoice the parents. Should I be charging GST on the workbooks?

Hello @MikeLugg

It all hinges on whether your education course is GST-free or not! Your local State or Territory education authorities can tell you whether your curricula are recognised or accredited for GST-free purposes.
