I cannot Increase My Credentials from a Standard To High strength as I do not have any more documentation. I have a drivers licence and medicare card only. I do have an Australian birth certificate that is not being recognised. I cannot get n updated copy of my birth certicate on line and would need to travel 800kms to Adelaide to obtain it. This is not an option. As I cannot strengthen my access to ATO through mygov, the only way it seems I can lodge my tax return is the good old fashion paper lodgement.I cannot do a passkey because I do not have that technology.

Hey @Merylee,


You don't lodge tax returns in the myGovID app.


You'll need to log in to your personal myGov for this.


MyGov does have an app, or you can access it through a web browser.


You can access the web browser sign in here.


If your issue is that you've used myGovID previously to log into your myGov account, and now its stating that you've previously logged in with a stronger identity, don't enter your username and password, click on "sign in with my digital id"


A standard identity will be enough to get you logged in.
