Hi,

My former employer hasn’t paid any super contributions into my account for over a year, despite me contacting them twice about it and my super fund still shows no deposits.

What steps should I take to recover this unpaid super?

Thanks for help!

Hi @mltjm76,

Yep you can do an unpaid super enquiry with the ATO.

They'll then investigate the situation and chase up any unpaid super that they find you might be owed!

Use this link for the tool to lodge your request, if that's what you decide you want to do.

Before taking this step, make sure it doesn't show in your superfund statements. If you're relying on ATO online for the info, it only gets updated once a year in Oct. That's when the superfunds report the balances for 01/07/2023 - 30/06/2024 period.
