I recently did cleaning work for two months and the invoices I sent to the organisation I contract to were altered to show a lesser amount without my permission. This was due to errors in their management not updating cleaning fees being taken by guests for each booking and therefore our cleaning fee was more than the guests were paying for the cleaning fee . this went on for two and a half months before I was made aware and had even said no to several jobs based on the low price and was told to go do them at the price I quoted . I feel this is not my responsibility to be underpaid for this work , and of course my invoices don't match up with the remittance I was sent as the amounts have all been reduced before payment . Is this normal or even legal ?

In depends on your contract or terms of service.
It is a civil matter and would need to be pursued personally

Hi @TobyJDodd thanks , is it civil because I am a sole trader ? Or other reasons
Hi
It’s civil because it involves contract law between two parties.

Oh ok, I have only recently started my own business and know nothing about most things business related. Thanks kindly for your replies
