As a sole trader accountant working from home with a separate entry, can I create an agreement with my husband (co-owner) and myself to claim rental deductions on the office space in my tax return and tax the rental income in our personal tax returns? Alternatively, can I claim a portion of the mortgage interest as a deduction for the home office?

Hi @PeggySue
Occupancy expenses can get tricky, and there's strict eligibility criteria.
Have a read on the website about what you can and cant claim when youre working from home.
Before starting any agreement, I'd probably run this by a tax agent to confirm you're following the rules.
