I am just wondering that how long to take to get an ABN which I applied from ABR website at 21/1/25.

An ABN is issued instantly unless there is an error on the application, if it hasn't issued instantly i'd call the call centre and have someone look into the error

thank you so much Taxfriend. I called to them and they said it will be taken 28 days and I am worrying, shall I reply now or wait for 28 days, not knowing that whether it had been rejected it or not.

your options are:
- wait and see if the ABN issues/reapply if rejected or,
- call again
Thanks so much for advices Taxfriend, I called again and I got the ABN, may I ask another query as you are so resourceful. this time is about TFN, when I applied ABN, I ticked as I need TFN and would you have any idea when and how could I get TFN.

If you're operating your business as a sole trader, then you can use your personal TFN and a new TFN will not be issued.
For other business structures (company, partnership, trust, etc) you get a TFN when you apply for an ABN and it will be sent out on the registration letter and once linked into the online business portal you will also be able to see it there.
