Hi,

I am planning to contribute my unused concessional contributions to my Super after 1 July 2025 to reduce CGT on the proposed sale of my rental property during the 25/26 tax year. Once I have made this contribution, I want to rollover a portion out of that fund to another fund yet will keep the account I contribute to open. Am I required to keep the super account open for the entire 25/26 tax year to ensure my contributions offset the CGT.

No, but you need to have your NoI form accepted before you roll over.
