If I were to notify the ATO of appointment of a public officer (i.e. when first registering the company) via a letter (including all the details about the PO) instead of using NAT 2943 (or doing it through the ABR portal) could that be signed digitally by the public officer who is being appointed? and then posted to the ATO?
I have previously asked public officers to sign and post it themselves, but would like to be able to simply get their signature either digital or scanned and then post it myself.
