I purchased my first property in 2022 and sold it a few months ago. My partner and I are wanting to buy a home together now.

I know I will not have any first home buyer options however is this completely ruled out for his 50% of the loan even though he is still a first home buyer? Whats are our option here?

What do you mean by first home buy options? If you mean for stamp duty? If so that is a local state issue and you'd need to contact your relevant state government.

If he intends to apply for FHSS which is governed by the ATO - Eligibility is assessed on an individual basis. This means that couples, siblings or friends can each access their own eligible FHSS contributions to purchase the same property. If any of you have previously owned a home, it will not stop anyone else who is eligible from applying.

Any other grants for first home owners/buyers are governed by the State Revenue Office not the ATO.
