Hi, I have two online business companies, not GST registered now. Both 100 shares 100% under my name and I am the sole director for both companies. Estimated revenue $70,000 and $60,000 in 2025 FY. Do I have to combine them for GST registration threshold? Do I need to register GST?

Hi @Work-life,

We've just published an article about GST registration!

You don't combine the estimated revenue of the 2 companies. They're each their own 'entity'.

You register for GST when each company makes 75k a year or more. If you hit the threshold, you've got 21 days to register.

You could choose to register for GST now. If you do, you'll need to charge GST on your sales, regardless of income.
