Hi there,

I'm curious if anyone trades through a prop trading firm and pays taxes as a company instead of as a sole trader.

I haven't been able to find information on how to register gains from a prop firm as a company, especially since the statements from the prop firm are issued in my name, not the company's.

Thanks,

To be taxed as a company, the owner of the investment needs to be a company - or one of the special entities that are taxed as companies.
