Hi,

I have a vehicle that is a salary sacrifice car I pay for totally myself. All running costs and lease payments associated are deducted from my pay every month.

The vehicle is registered in my name and the lease application etc is my name. I am thinking about doing some Uber Eats and want to clarify if I can use the cents per km deduction for kms travelled when delivering?

Since the leased vehicle is fully paid for by and registered to me, can I claim cents per km for these trips?

Thanks for your help.

No - no personal deductions are permitted for company cars. See sec 51 AF.

It is not paid by you - it is paid by your employer from your sacrificed salary.
