I have received a letter from the ATO saying I may have 'forgotten to include rental income in (my) tax return'. I no longer have legal ownership of this property and I'm wondering how I can update my ATO profile to reflect this. The contact details loosely provided on the letter have not been helpful and don't seem to get me in touch with someone who can update my record. Can anyone help?

Hi @cupnoodle

Yes, if you speak with our individual's area, they'll gather info from you and take it from there.

The letters were based on data from property managers, so you can just let us know you don't own the property anymore or didn't own it for the years mentioned in the letter.
