An employee resigned from their job, giving one months notice, which would have taken their employment to 16/4/2025. The business decided to Pay out the employees notice after one week, terminating employment of 21/3/2025. Part of the employees contract was that if still employed on 31/3/2025, a bonus would be paid for a set amount. The bonus is being paid to the employee, however as the Notice period is being paid out as In Lieu of Notice, would this bonus form part of that payment and be considered an ETP or should it be paid as a bonus and reported as such and taxed marginally?

Incentives owing to your employee for work done isn't included in the ETP. It's part of their salary and wages and taxed accordingly.
