I am 51 years old and not working. I became an Australian tax resident in 2022 and plan to set up a superannuation account this year. If I am not working, am I entitled to claim any voluntary contribution deduction? If so, how much I can claim? Thank you.

Hi @SnowballKC
You can check your eligibility to claim a personal super contribution. You can claim the amount you contributed. You mentioned you're not working; do you have any income to report? A deduction would reduce your taxable income, so it's not an amount you get refunded.
Check out what you need to know about making a personal super contribution.
