I have a small dog grooming business that is registered as a sole proprietor. My son (age 17 and school student) has been helping me casually for extra cash to save up for a car. Customers have been paying him cash.
I was wondering if it is more beneficial for me to put it through my books as a casual employee.
What are the pros and cons?
Do I need to pay him Superannuation and give a formal pay slip and declare it to ATO
