I was asked to provide information to the Ato for an audit. four months later the audit was finalized and adjusted not in my Favour. the report received back mentioned that part of the decision was based on an "assumption" that some of the items I have claimed for gst are for private use with no explanation or expansion on why they think this ? and or a list of what is and what isnt claimable and why! and that part of the decision was based on only receiving one month's bank statement instead of six months 'that was requested, even though I sent all six through and offered to resend them asap through both the bank itself as a direct request and by sending statements when made aware of this but was told it is final! I don't understand how this is fair that a decision was made at all really.

Hi @BloodyDeeJay,
Without being able to access your records or the audit, there isn't much we can comment on regarding the outcome.
If you disagree with the audit decision, the correspondence you received may detail your objection rights. That would be the best way to provide any further information that you believe should be considered.
