Trying to access my superannuation early to do some IVF, one of the question is stuck with is,
“Is the treatment covered by the public health care system”
the answer is yes but I don’t fit the criteria for it.
so am I ticking yes or no?
next question “ is Is it necessary for the patient to have this treatment before it's available in the public health system? “
well it necessary as I don’t fit the criteria and we would like to start a family

Congratulations on deciding to go through the IVF process, I hope it works out for you.
Are you using the ATO medical reports, or are you trying to fill in the online form?
With the ATO medical reports, you only fill out the first page, the doctors fill out the other 4, so it's their responsibility to answer those questions.
If something 'is' readily available through the public health system, the doctors tick "Yes" and then state why it's not reasonable to wait (at the next question). 🍀
