I work for two employers. I claim tax free threshhold with one which i have now realised i work for them less than the other so i have only earned 11,581 and have been taxed 654. But the other employer i have earned a lot more.
Should I swap over in the new financial year? or it does not really matter?
Up to you. If you would prefer to not have a tax bill after lodging your tax return then leave things as they are.
Most common for those who have 2 jobs and they have the tax-free threshold on their higher paying job they will end up with a tax bill.
Personal decision. What do you prefer? Having more spending money through the year with a tax bill, or less money and a tax refund.
