I had a tax free compensation payout several years ago. Can I put that amount into super now without paying any tax on it?

Yes. Making the contribution into the fund won't trigger any tax.
Hi @Seejay88,
You can contribute a past tax-free compensation payout into your superannuation. If you contribute the tax-free payout as a non-concessional contribution, and stay within non-concessional contributions cap, you won’t pay any additional tax on that amount.
You should keep records of the origin of the payout (e.g., compensation documents).
