In my office based role I frequently run audits and facilitate workshops. I have considered purchasing a pair of the Meta AI glasses to capture notes from a whiteboard, record video, help summarise findings and aid in running certain activities during some of the audits and workshops for example. The glasses would be much easier to use than relying on clunky laptops, phones and glitchy meeting room equipment. Is this something I can claim and if so how?

If you're using as the glasses part of earning your wage then yes you can claim this.

How you would do this would be by depreciating the glasses as an asset and claiming the depreciation expense as a deduction. You also want to apportion this between private/work use if you were also using the glasses for private use.
