Hi guys, how do I prevent my previous accountant from accessing my account without my consent and how do I make sure that my returns doesn't go into their account. I have been ripped off.

You can contact the individual enquiries line and request they end the client to tax agent link.
If they were just an authorised contact, you could do it yourself in ATO online services, but to make sure a link is truly end dated, you can do it the way suggested, for peace of mind.
Then you know it's definitely done. Try around 8 am your local time, but keep in mind it's a busy time of year, it could take a few goes, to get through. 👌
