I am under Horticulture Award full time employee. My usual work days are Monday to Friday for 38 hours. but every second Saturday i will work for around 4 hours. As my pay cycle is starting from Saturday, Saturday is my 1st day of the week. When i finish work on Friday. i total worked 42 hours (Sat 4hrs+Monday-Friday 38hours). I want to check how should I get paid if my pay rate is $30 for example. Here are two opinions and I dont know which one is correct.
Opinion1: Sat is OT= 4*$30*1.5 no super applied; plus Mon-Fri 38*$30*1.0 super applied.
Option2: Sat is OT=4*$30*1.5 no super applied; plus Mon-Fri 34*$30*1.0 super applied; plus 4*$30*1.5 no super applied (because first 4 hours have been counted into 38 hours and the last 4 hours on Friday should be over time)
Dont know which way is the correct way.
