I am wondering why I owe the ATO? I receive youth allowance, I am in university studies and work a casual job. My total taxable income is $38,561. I earned $25,350 from my casual job, and earned $12,688 from Centrelink. Tax withheld from my casual job was $2,235.
Tax on my taxable income is $3,257.76
