Hey guys, my trade support loan last year stated I owed $12k now in 2025 it’s saying I have a balance of $0 but I don’t see any repayments made to the loan on the ATO website where it shows me all indexation & past payments made to this loan, is it really at $0 now?
Have you checked the transactions of the loan account? It wouldn't magically become 0. The loan would be debit $12k (negative) so would need to have $12k of credit transactions to turn it to $0.
Where would I find the “loan account”? MyGov website into ATO website and Hecs/ support loans?
If the loan is looked after by ATO, then in should be in your ATO portal
I think it would under MyGov > Tax > Accounts > Loan accounts

The 20% debt reduction initiative was applied to all study and training support loans before 1 June 2025, including TSLs. This could be why it's now showing $0.00.
This is an automatic process, and you needn't do anything. If you're worried, best to give us a call.
