Hi all,

I repayed my HECS debt in full on 04 June 2025. I did it through my gov app > ATO > make a payment

My bank shows I have paid the money although my ATO statement does not show I have paid it. I have never had this issue. I have tried to call multiple times but cannot get through.

Has anyone else had this issue/know what to do?

I am trying to get a home loan but the bank is under the impression I still have debt..

Can you check your other tax accounts to make sure it didn't end up in the wrong account? If still not with ATO, it would be best to call ATO and see if they can find the payment.
