I am looking to claim hours worked from home on a sole trader ABN business. The business ran at a loss this FY. However, I have a salary position. When I enter the sole trader hours WFH in the "Other work-related expenses" section it appears to offset the salary income. Or, is there another way to record the sole trader ABN WFH hours that are not related to the salary income?

  • I believe you're meant to put your sole trader hours WFH deduction in your sole trader expenses.
  • The other work related deduction section is more to do with wages/salary work
