I am looking to start another full time job. I already do not claim the tax free threshold for my current job. I am looking to not claim the tax free threshold for the second job. Got a tax debt last financial year so chose not to claim it for current job. When I added the salary of both jobs it works out to be $109, 368 total the total taxes for both jobs on not claiming the tax free threshold would be $32, 236. When I go to calculate for next years tax refund estimate it says I would owe the ATO $28000 which is huge. How can I avoid a huge tax bill for next years tax return? Despite not claiming the tax free threshold on both jobs?

The tax on your taxable income would be $25,785.76 including mc levy and if you take into account the Tax Instalment deductions of $32,236 then for this financial year you will have a credit of $6,450.24 .. which means your current outstanding debit from last return is $34,450 ???

No last year financial tax debt was $1400 this was because i had earnt some earnings from Centrelink payments and one job. Instead I chose for this current financial year to not claim the tax free threshold to be safe. I am looking for a second job with full time hours as I’m coming off those payments soon. I will also not claim the tax free threshold on second job either. When putting in the second salary of the second job through through a pay calculator I added both salaries of both jobs just estimating it with the no free tax threshold claim added. I then went through a tax return calculator on another website just to see how much I would owe or receive and the calculator pinged out $28000 owing. It was a H&R type of website which I am sure is wrong. It was an estimate but that estimate sounded Cleary wrong.
