I immediately applied for TFN last Sept 5 when I arrived in Australia on a 482 Visa. I immediately joined my employer on Sept 8. I need the TFN for my super and for payments.
How can I get it soon, so I can file for super and get paid? Also, I accidentally made another TFN request on Sept 9 because I thought my last application was unsuccessful.

TFN applications usually take up to 28 days to process. Submitting a second application won’t speed it up and might cause delays. There’s no way to track it in the meantime.
Let your employer know you’ve applied. You have 28 days from starting work to give them your TFN before they withhold more tax. You can fill out a TFN declaration form and note that you’ve applied.
For super, your employer can set it up without your TFN for now but providing it later helps avoid extra tax.
