Hi,

Is there any restrictions around the number of times you can draw down a home loan for investing purposes?

Example:

I have a home loan. Lets say its 400k. It has 4 splits. I have previously paid down each split and debt recycled the money to invest in shares. Lets say this was VAS.

Later, i wish to invest in another share and change my debt recycling purpose to buy VGS.

Can i pay down the four splits again (whatever dollar amount that is), redraw the money and invest in VGS? This means the purpose of the load is still for investments and can be deductible?

Thanks

No one here can give you the advice you want. Go to a financial adviser.

All i want to know is if i can debt recycle the same loan splits multiple times. Assuming the funds are used for income producing assets.

I do not need financial advice on the shares part.

I was hoping someone from the ATO could clarify/respond like ive seen them do multiple times.
