If I bought a laptop for personal use and work provides me with a work laptop, but I end up switching to using my personal laptop for work purposes............
1) Can I claim a deduction on the laptop?
2) If yes, what records or proof do I need to keep to substantiate my calculation and claim in case I am questioned/audited? And what format do I keep these records (e.g. 4 week diary etc)
3) What records or proof do I need to prove that I am using my personal laptop for work?
4) Is me swapping to using my personal laptop for either: part of the year or using both a problem?
