I made a post here not long ago about how it had been close to/over the 28 days expected for a TFN to be granted when my Partner applied. She is on Partner visa which may add a little difficulty to her case but it is now getting ridiculous and honestly disrespectful.


My partner applied 41 days ago. We have called the ATO 10 times at this point. We have had 5 different answers to where her application was up too/if it existed. Half the time the ATO agent just did not help at all.


The level of customer service or lack there of is embarssing. It should not take 10 called and more then two weeks over the estimated waiting time to receive something as simple as a TFN. There is also no easy way to complain, raise to a higher up as our last complaint was not even passed on.


I want to know if it is worth going to ombudsman with this as we feel completely lost.
