I have submitted my DASP application on the 7th September from then till now it's been almost 2 months and my super fund still haven't received my application from the ATO, I have been calling both ATO and my super fund back to back and been advised to call one another, it is very frustrating.
My super fund informed that they will have to wait for the ATO to approve my application, to finalise the tax and all so my super fund can release the fund.
I then called the ATO to ask if they can confirmed my application which they couldn't but instead they have escalated my request and will be contacting me back via email which could take up to 28 days.....
I'm speechless. I have been waiting for so long! The 28 days timeframe is very ridiculous to begin with and I don't know how many of a '28 days' I have to wait. I have tried sending emails to the DASP email before but it was unresponsive. Waited for weeks and no reply and I suppose to believe that they will contact me back ?
I have departed Australia and jobless atm I could not afford anymore international call fees and my superannuation fund would really help me a lot in this situation.
