Hello,


I am trying to apply for ABN online as a foreign incorporation (Canada) without a TFN through this site here (https://www.abr.gov.au/business-super-funds-charities/applying-abn).


My problem is, on the "Business Information > Contact Details" page, I am unable to progress after entering my email address without an Australian phone number. Below is the error I get:


"One of the following must be provided, either the Business Hours, After hours or Mobile phone number."


Even though, on the same page, it states "You must provide either mobile phone number or email."


I hope someone can guide me through this. Many thanks in advance.

Hi @Dnguyen,


You’ll need to provide a phone number or email to progress the ABN application. If you can’t complete the online form, you should phone the Australian Business Register (ABR) for help with your application and contact details.


They can confirm your identity and assist with updating or lodging ABN registration details if the online channel isn’t working for you.
