Our pay day is 30th December. ATO shuts from 24th December. Can we still do STP reporting when we process the pay on 29th/30th December?

Hi @varun.ar,

Yes, you can still submit your Single Touch Payroll reports during the ATO shutdown period. STP reporting systems remain operational even when our offices are closed for the holiday period.

When you process your pay on 29 or 30 December, your STP-enabled payroll software will be able to send the reports to us as normal. Our systems continue to receive and process STP data 24/7, including during our office closure from 24th December.

Your STP reporting obligations continue regardless of our office hours. Each time you pay your employees, you need to report their tax and super information to us through Single Touch Payroll enabled payroll software.

Make sure your payroll software is properly connected with us before processing your pay run. Your software can connect through a software ID, sending service provider, or machine credential to ensure we receive your STP reports successfully.
