I have just had a liver transplant and I have been diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, a fatal disease.

We use a car for hospital/doctors appointments and to go to the local shops.

We cannot get a car loan.

Hello @blockalegend,

It's definitely an eligible expense under the Medical Transport section of an Early release of Super on Compassionate Grounds, however, it comes with some conditions.

It's primary use (at least 60%) must be for medical transport, and other means of transport can't reasonably be used. Meaning that you need it to get to constant and continuous medical appointments and not just everyday use. 🍀

This will need to be endorsed by two medical practitioners stating the reasons why you need to purchase a new vehicle and specifically the vehicle you provide a quote for.
