I created the application, and when I clicked submit, it took me directly to another page and wouldn't let me go back. I don't have the reference ID to view the application, and I haven't received anything in my email. It's been more than 48 hours, and it still doesn't appear in the ABN lookup tool. What can I do?

It sounds like your ABN application may need additional processing time. In most instances, the ABN process is instant, and your ABN will appear on screen after you submit your application. However, some ABN applications may need up to 20 business days to be processed if we need to check details or require more information.
Since you didn't receive a reference number and haven't received any email confirmation, there may have been a technical issue with your submission. Without a reference number, it's difficult to track your application through the usual channels.
You can give us a call to follow up on your application status and get help with retrieving your reference number or resubmitting if needed.
