Hi @Uin11,
Have a read of the principles shown in this example on our website. You can claim a deduction for travel between your home and an alternative workplace if that location isn’t one of your regular places of work. You can also claim travel between your regular workplace and an alternative workplace, and then home. Normal home‑to‑work travel isn’t deductible, even if you start late or finish early.
The distance and travel time to the alternative work location doesn't determine whether it's claimable. What matters is whether the alternative location is a regular workplace or not. If you work at the nearby location as part of an ongoing pattern, it may be considered a regular workplace, meaning the travel would be private and not deductible.
You can review the guidelines on trips you can and can't claim to determine whether the alternative work location has become regular. And check the FBT rules on when travel between home and work is business use, if this involves an employer-provided vehicle.

Thank you!
If these trips are considered legs of one overall trip and the alternative work location is not a regular workplace, would the entire scenario be regarded as business trips?
