Hi @Cast8891217,

Australian Super needs a valid (current) passport to process your DASP claim because they must check your identity using up‑to‑date documents. This rule comes from their verification process, so we can’t change it.

To have your DASP application processed, you can:

  • Ask the Department of Home Affairs for a Certification of Immigration Status. With this document, you can send a paper DASP application directly to Australian Super instead of using your passport.
  • Wait until your passport issue is sorted out. Once you get your new passport, you can send Australian Super a certified copy.

If you choose to get the Certification of Immigration Status, you'll need to contact the Department of Home Affairs to request this document.
