So I tried working as a food delivery, I made 23 dolar at february 2026 and I read that I need to report this(which I will). This brings me question:

  1. do I need to report my BAS for Q1 and Q2? because I don't have any data/earning at that time.
  2. If I were to quit food delivery, Do I need to report BAS for the current Q I'm in? or do I need to continue reporting until EOFY(end of fiscal year)?
  3. Do I need to do something for my ABN?
  4. Do I just stop lodging tax return after I quit?

Sorry if it's a lot, i'm very confused

I am assuming you are lodging BAS's because you registered for GST. If you registered for GST voluntarily and your turnover is less than $75,000, you can elect to report on an annual basis. (otherwise you must continue to lodge quarterly BAS's - not lodging can lead to penalties)

Information on this is below and how to change to annual reporting.

Annual GST reporting | Australian Taxation Office

If you intend to cease operations or decide to cancel GST registration then be aware of rules for repaying GST credits on business assets retained.

If you do "quit" then you should also cancel your ABN. Further information below.

No, I don't have GST as it is below 75k/year.

Can I also confirm that I just need to report this on the EOFY? And then cancel my abng?
