Hi community, I am working on 3 weeks on/off roster (this also in my employment contract). my company pay me OTE and over time. the OTE based on 38 hours a week and over than that is in over time. I asked my payroll department about this and said that I am on casual employment and working on 3 weeks on/off, this is first time I get less super due to this issue. I am afraid if i push this more (after I asked last time and got answered in general terms) it might threatening my employment.

G'day @wilsonwinner 👋
What does your Award or Agreement define as ordinary hours of work? Many times, whilst it may be 38 hours per week, those hours may be worked over a greater period, such as over a 4 week period. Check your Award.
The ATO OTE guidance gives you a quick overview on which payments are OTE.
If you think your employer isn't paying the correct super, follow this ATO guidance.
