Hello, I've placed some consumable orders for my business In February, when I wasn't registered for gst. I became registered in March and paid the invoices for those orders when I was already gst registered.  Can I claim that gst?

thanks

Hiya @Dprada,

It depends on the method you use to account for GST. If you account for GST using the cash method, you would be eligible to claim the credit.

If you use the accruals method, it would depend on the date on the invoice. If it is dated after your GST registration, you would be eligible.

GST accounting methods.
