Hi,

Can somebody please clarify if the super salary sacrifice should be on employee base salary or on his gross taxable salary?

for example if the employee base salary is $5000 and he is also received a taxable allowance of $1000 so his total taxable gross is $6000. He is doing 10% super salary sacrifice.

So my question is should 10% be on $5000 or %6000?

Do you mean salary sacifice or super guarantee?

Salary sacifice is any amount tht you have asked the employer to pay into super instead of as a salary.
