Wages paid early when is super due

Our payroll was due to be run and paid on 01.01.21 for the period ending 01.01.21.  As the pay day was a public holiday we released the wages on 31.12.20 for the full period ending 01.01.21.

Is our super for that pay period now applicable for December 2020 or January 2021?

If physical payment was made in Dec, then SG due for Dec quarter.
