My Tennant's toilet was blocked. Upon the inspection with CCTV camera it was discovered following:
There is a section of drain closest to the house that has previsly been upgraded to PVC.
There was a 17 meter of drain starting at the front corner of the shed that was the original earthanware clay pipe. Through out the 17 meters tree roots have entered in every join. The boundary shaft and trap has major root entry. Down stream of the boundary trap there is an additional 2 sections of drain that has major cracks and roots entering. As a consequence if this the pipe was replaced by plumbers.
Is this considered as a repair or as a capital improvement? The tennant is with me for 5 years. Thank you Michael.
