Hi. I submitted my tax about 15 minutes ago. As I pressed submit, I noticed something was not added.

On the homnescreen it says "For action. 2020/21 tax" but the website takes me to the screen which says

"Our records indicate you have already lodged your 2020-21 tax return.

To view or amend your 2020-21 tax return go to income tax history"

I go to Income Tax History and my 2020/21 tax is under the "NOT LODGED" tab and the black button says "PREPARE"

I click "PREPARE" and it takes me to the screen '

You have already lodgedOur records indicate you have already lodged your 2020-21 tax return. To view or amend your 2020-21 tax return go to Income Tax History

I call up the ATO hotline and they tell me I haven't lodged. I have a receipt number for the lodgement. The person on phone unable to help

What should I do?

It can take some time to reflect in the system. The best thing to do is wait until it's lodged and then amend your return to avoid causing delays. I wouldnt worry just yet
