If my clients only income in the tax year was paid parental leave, are they still eligible for the Government Co-Contribution to Super according to the 10% rule?

Does the answer differ if leave is paid by Government, or by Employer?

Hi @ Stretch76,

The income source eligible for Government Co-Contribution can only come from Employment or Business income. Even if your clients employer is making the Paid Parental leave payment, because the income source is from a government benefit it does not qualify for Co-Contribution.
