I have purchased shares on an overseas stock exchange using an Australian broking firm and an Australian bank account. Are dividends to be declared on my Australian Tax Return or do I have to lodge a return in the country the shares are listed in?

Hi @AlanJG

If you are an Australian reisdent for tax purposes you need to report your worldwide income on your Australian tax return. So no need to report it in the other countries.
